This is a 4-hour training that can be completed in a single session or 2 2-hour sessions. It is designed to introduce the basics of LGBTQ identities and vocabulary, challenge biases and examine power, privilege, and oppression, and teach about creating an inviting space to minimize potential harm to LGBTQ folks. Participants that complete the training may sign a values statement and in return will receive a placard that can be displayed in their workspace to publicly identify that they have completed an ally training. This is a foundational training that is open to any individual or organization.
